Sonshine Gospel Sing-A-Long
This spirit-led, music ministry was started by Fr. Richard Hill and Christian Coffield in 2007.

For over 15 years, we've been ministering to the elderly in nursing homes:

• The sick
• The lame
• The imprisoned

Our Inspiration & Motivation
In Matt. 25:34-46 (NAB), "Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 

... I was a stranger and you welcomed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.

... Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.

... the righteous will go off to eternal life." - Jesus

We recognize we are not righteous. But, Jesus Christ is. It's something we have to receive from Him in humility. And we can't even do that without His help.

In Matt. 19:26 (NAB), Jesus said, "For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

At the Sonshine Gospel Sing-A-Long, we sing the old hymns the way the elderly know and like them.

Currently, we are worshiping on the second Saturday of each month at 3 p.m. (CT) at a nursing home in Plano, TX, USA.

This is a pick-up group with an open invitation, so come and go as you like. The Lord will take care of the rest.
